Couples / Relationship Therapy
~ Helping couples create relationships where both people can be fully known, deeply desired, and free to keep becoming themselves-- together ~
Relationship Therapy
Whether you’re feeling disconnected, caught in the same arguments, struggling with intimacy, or simply wanting a stronger foundation for the future, relationship therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and create new ways of relating.

Relationships are living systems that thrive when both people feel safe enough to be honest, courageous enough to repair, and free enough to keep evolving.

Common Reasons Couples Seek Therapy
You don’t have to be on the brink of separation to benefit from therapy. Many couples come in because they want to strengthen the relationship they’re building together.
You may be experiencing:
-
The same conflicts without resolution
-
Feeling more like roommates than partners
-
Difficulty communicating needs or feeling understood
-
Challenges with emotional or physical intimacy
-
Differences in sexual desire or erotic connection
-
Trust that has been impacted by betrayal or past hurts
-
Life transitions that are putting strain on the relationship
-
The lingering impact of trauma or attachment wounds
-
Questions about monogamy, non-monogamy, or intentionally designed relationships
-
A desire to deepen your connection before problems become entrenched

My Approach
I believe healthy relationships aren’t built by avoiding conflict. They’re built by learning how to repair after it.
Every couple develops patterns over time. One partner pursues while the other withdraws. One criticizes while the other becomes defensive. One shuts down while the other protests. These patterns often develop as attempts to protect ourselves—not because either person is “the problem.”
Rather than asking who’s right or wrong, we’ll become curious about the dance you’ve found yourselves in.
Together, we’ll explore how your individual histories, nervous systems, and attachment patterns shape the relationship today. We’ll slow down difficult moments, build insight into what’s happening beneath the reactions, and practice new ways of responding with honesty, empathy, and care.

Cultivating Authentic Intimacy
To me, intimacy means being fully known and accepted as you are.
It grows through emotional honesty, nervous system safety, playful curiosity, and the freedom to express who you are without fear of losing the relationship.
Whether we’re exploring emotional connection, physical intimacy, sexuality, or desire, our work isn’t about meeting someone else’s expectations of what a relationship “should” look like. It’s about helping you create a relationship that feels authentic, nourishing, and alive for both of you.

What We’ll Work Toward
Relationship therapy isn’t about creating a perfect partnership. It’s about helping you build confidence that your relationship can navigate life’s inevitable challenges together.
Over time, many couples find they are able to:
-
Repair conflict with greater confidence and compassion
-
Feel more emotionally and physically connected
-
Express needs and boundaries more honestly
-
Understand each other’s inner worlds more deeply
-
Rebuild trust after painful experiences
-
Create a more fulfilling and playful intimate relationship
-
Develop a shared vision for the relationship they’re creating together

Sometimes Healing Means Letting Go
Not every relationship is meant to continue.
Sometimes therapy helps couples strengthen their commitment. Other times, it brings clarity that the healthiest path is to separate with honesty, compassion, and integrity.
In either case, my hope is that you leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourselves, greater respect for one another, and confidence that your relationship—whether it continues or ends—has been approached with intention and care.
Wherever you are in your journey, I’d be honored to support you in creating relationships rooted in authenticity, trust, and meaningful connection.
